The blue heart campaign is an event for victims of human trafficking. the event is held in waterfront Cebu City hotel and casino, in the pacific grand ballroom. This is a 1 day event organized by approach consortium consisting of bidlisiw foundation, forge, and children legal bureau. This event will be on July 30, 2021 and has a series of activities like talks from ngos and sharing knowledge and spreading awareness, another talk will also be held where a victim willingly shares their story and also spreads awareness to listeners. booths and interactive areas like photobooth and gaming booths are created for photo ops and gaining knowledge about the event through playing games.
The objective for the entire event is to spread awareness and raise funds for Ngo’s in helping people who are a victim of human trafficking. This single day event will start at 10 in the morning and will end by 8 in the evening. The purpose for this is to have the entire day as the exhibit and have talks from victims who want to share stories. Ngos will also have booths where guests could have one-on-one talks in asking more information about respective organizations. Food and beverages are being offered by the said event, a package that comes along with the money you paid for the whole day event. by the evening, a beneficiary concert will be held in the concert area and celebrity guests who openly support this campaign are guests, and some famous advocates to share their knowledge. This whole day event will not only raise awareness but to gather funds for the victims and support them so they can recover from their physical and psychological injuries. Funds are being distributed to the un voluntary trust fund for victims of trafficking in persons.

This one-day event has a variety of activities for the entire day. The modernized design set was purposely done by the designer to attract more teenagers into the movement, in the age of the internet and social media, getting them involved in these types of events will help spread more awareness not only here in Cebu but all over the world. by “wearing” the blue heart, they will be able to raise awareness of human trafficking, increase the visibility of victims, and join the campaign to fight this crime. spreading awareness means getting more people to know about the movement. The more people knowing about the movement the more people will step up and save themselves before it’s too late. One voice could help with the mission of ending human trafficking.
